Na mumu dey go boutique.🌚

Get your wash and wear amebo stories here. 🤩

Hold your change sha, I no get change.

But if you think say hot water dey open up pores, come forward I get gift for you. 🙂

Come closer nau. 😏

*knacks head with 4x4* you get mind approach me. 😒

Your pores cannot open and close like doors.

A skin pore is a tiny opening in your skin through which oil (sebum) or sweat can pass through. It is always open.

Hot water cannot open what is already open.

However, using steam or a hot towel can dilate your pores to make them look larger. Using hot water directly on your skin strips it of its natural protective barrier which leads to increased dryness.

Lukewarm water remains the best option. Cold water does not harm as well.

If you’re already suffering from large pores, and you want it to look smaller, you can hop on the exfoliation train 1–2 times a week.

If you have large pores, accept my deepest condolences. I truly understand your pain.

But if you think because you’re now a big girl in town, you’re suddenly immune to acne, then my understanding ends here.

You must understand that acne no dey fear person. No matter who you are, it comes and goes as it likes.

It’s not only for secondary school children. Dead that idea.

While theirs is mostly triggered by puberty, it can also happen to anybody.

For example, during pregnancy, or menopause. Umu nwanyi. You know yourselves. 🌚

Our environment can also be a trigger as well. The cleanliness of the water you consume, how much pollution is in the air, and what you consume in your diet. All of these can be a trigger for acne.

But all hope is not lost. Even if acne appears, you can still control it. Following a skincare routine and eating right will do justice to your skin.

Now I’ve mentioned skincare, you’re squeezing your face. Agent J has come again with her wahala. 😏

You’re too young to be doing skincare. You want to wait till you’re 30 before you know how to apply sunscreen.

But I thought you were a big girl? You think you can avoid the debit alert that comes with it?

Listen. The best time to start your skincare is in your 20s. I repeat, in your 20's.

You don’t want to wait till you’re 40 or 50 before you start correcting the damage the sun has done to your skin already. 😖

You want to clear your acne? You want to bring out your colour well well? You want to get rid of those wrinkles? Start now.

Don’t be carrying the labour of our hero’s past with pride on your face.

For the newbies that have finally been baptised into the religious life of skincare enthusiasts, welcome. 😊

I know the prices are scaring you. Skincare isn’t always known for being cheap.

But let me give you a heads up. Just because a product is the most expensive one in the aisle, does not mean it is the best there is.

In other words, high cost of product best in effectiveness.

That mentality should be thrown into the trash. 🚮

If you want to start a skincare routine, first start by assessing your skin. What do you hope to achieve?

Then find products that match your goal. Learn about the active ingredients you’ll need. Read the labels of the products.

The formulation of each product matters, but most often the fancy packaging or well-known brand name may be what you’re paying extra for.

Na tactics. This is why you have to be wise. 😎

My lovely readers, at this point, my market don finish. Thank you for being my loyal customers. 🤗

I’m doing a pre-order next. Drop your orders in the comment section. And if you leave 50 claps, I can bring them faster than air shipping.

Follow me for more motivational advice. 😁
